Former Tottenham Steam forward Cale Markham has announced his commitment to play at Finlandia University (NCAA III) for the upcoming 2017-2018 season.

As per the official Finlandia website, Finlandia head coach Joe Burcar had this to say "Cale brings a winning attitude with him, he's played for champions at every level of his career.  Cale knows what it takes to be successful and we feel that will catch on with his teammates."

Following his rookie season with the Steam, Markham went on to play in the Greater Ontario Junior Hockey League (GOJHL) this past season where he scored 19 Points (11G, 8A) while splitting time between the Chatham Maroons and the Lambton Shores Predators

Cale was excited to recall his time in Tottenham, “From the moment I put on that Steam jersey I had a new family, my brothers and I went to war that season and brought home the Russell Cup. I couldn’t be happier with the way I was able to evolve as a player under Woody, and would like to thank everyone in Tottenham especially my billets Ryan and Lindsey and my billet brothers Ethan and Dylan for helping make my time so special.”

We were all witness to the type of player and person you were during your time with the Steam Cale and we would all like to wish you luck from all of us.
